WAEC 2026/2027 Timetable – May/June WASSCE for School Candidates

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the official timetable for the 2026/2027 WASSCE (May/June) for school candidates. This timetable applies to Nigeria, Ghana, The Gambia, Liberia, and Sierra Leone, depending on the subjects.

Following the timetable is important for effective exam preparation and time management.

• Start Date: 8th April 2026

• End Date: 31st May 2026

Note: Always follow the duration indicated on the question paper if it differs from the timetable.

Important Notes for Candidates

1. Project Work Papers: Delivered 2 weeks before the exam.

2. General Knowledge in Art Paper 3: Question paper given 2 weeks in advance.

3. Extra Time for Blind/Deaf Candidates: 1.5× the usual exam time.

4. Prepare early: Start reviewing 1–2 months before exams and ensure all practical/oral materials are ready.
